The owners made us so welcome too.

This is a high spec beautifully designed barn conversion which was a fabulous location for our family of 6 to meet up.
The beds were arranged to cater for my husband and me and 4 adults.
The ensuite bathrooms were fantastic with baths and showers with the comfortable large beds and linen.
Having moisturizer and soap, as well as a start pack washing products made our stay too as we were coming in from different countries.

The walks around the village and south downs are spectacular we also managed a spa day nearby too.

I would thoroughly recommend this property

I came across Tagents Barn completely by accident, having spent many days looking for somewhere to stay for me and my family.
I decided to take a chance as the pictures looked amazing, and as we were travelling all the way from noisy Jakarta in Indonesia, I wanted somewhere that would be relaxing and peaceful and the complete opposite of a busy city.
After travelling over 24 hours we arrived at the Barn and we were met by the owner Annabel, it was exactly as described, sat at the end of a one way track in the middle of the south downs, surrounded by fields and forest, with amazing views down the valley into the local village, with no noise apart from birds.
Annabel showed us around, and there was nothing that had not been thought of, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, BBQ, outside tables, chairs, loungers, extra blankets and duvets, washing powder, washing liquid, pegs, bread, milk, eggs, fully equipped kitchen, logs for the fire, absolutely everything!
If you just went out and just bought food, you would never have to leave, as everything is there!
There was myself and 4 family members, 3 bathrooms and a guest wc, so no waiting to use the bathroom.
We had a BBQ one evening and had another 10 guests, everyone agreed the place was fantastic.
Our biggest regret is that we were not there all the time, as we had lots of days trips out.
I would whole heartedly recommend Tagents Barn, it is modern, funky, traditional, beautiful, relaxing all rolled into one.
We as a family will definitely be returning in the future.

Stayed for a weekend with three girl friends to celebrate my birthday. We just had the best time ever. The barn is superbly appointed from the white company bed linen, huge fluffy towels and robes to a vast assortment of glasses and crockery for dining. They have literally thought of everything to make it the most luxurious of conversions. The bed was so comfortable, the bathrooms all spotless with the highest spec showers and fittings, and even candles supplied! Superb. It is true that it is quite open plan and that may not suit everyone but we all went to bed at the same time (mind you by 2am I think I was past worrying!) so it did not matter. The garden was an added delight to sit in during the afternoon. The stereo system was awesome and much dancing was enjoyed by all with no one nearby to disturb! I'd love to say we will return but I don't think we could repeat such a perfect weekend but I'd like to try!! Highly recommended, thank you.

This location is superb if you are looking for a very quiet village with a shop with papers and pub approx 1 km.The Barn is stunning, probably the highest quality fit out to kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms we have ever stayed out and is a match to any 5 star hotel even down to fluffy white dressing gowns.Cannot fault from greetings, welcome pack, cleanliness, garden and BBQ, open log fire, .etc We loved it and will most certainly be returning for longer next year
